Requesting assistance in obtaining qualified Local, SB, SDB, WOSB, HUBZone and SDVOSB subcontractors/vendors!!!

K/S Constructors, comprised of Kiewit and Sundt, is proposing on the project listed below:

Project: San Ysidro Land Port of Entry Phase III

Agency Owner: The General Services Administration

Bid Due Date: February 2nd, 2016

K/S Constructors is seeking your assistance in recruiting qualified Local, Small Business (SB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone Business, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms who are interested in working on the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry Phase 3 project.

This project has not yet been awarded. We are currently seeking confirmation of interest ONLY. This proposal includes Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) documents. All prospective subcontracting bidders must be prequalified and sign a security form to receive the documents.

All interested Subcontractors are required to complete the Online Subcontractor Qualification Statement annually. Subcontractor Qualification Statements, upon approval, will be maintained for one year. For verification of Qualification status contact Lori Ward, Sundt Construction's office at 619-321-4820. Please visit the SubQual Website at and submit on-line.

Once prequalified, contact Dayna Boggs for the security form in order to receive an invitation to iSqFt, which contains the encrypted bid documents. Review the Scope of Work - Bidder interest document and indicate which work divisions you will be proposing. Major Work Items for SYLPOE Phase 3 include, but are not limited to the following:

Relocation of existing temporary facilities
Demolition and abatement
New vehicular operations facilities
New temporary buildings, facilities, and infrastructure
New storm water management systems
Protection of existing facilities and structures
Rerouting and widening of roadwork
Extension employee pedestrian tunnel
New site structures and infrastructure
