Beyond The Basics
Beyond the Basics is a 2-Day, 4 Module, 12 Hour training for small business that are wanting to do business with the local, state, and federal government.
 
Although not required, we do recommend that you attend all 4 modules as the information covered in each module compliment each other.  You must register for each module separately.
 
If you are just getting started, we recommend Module 1 and 2 as a good starting point!
 
This training is intensive, interactive, practical, and designed to move you forward! 

Module 1 - Introduction to Local, State, and Federal Contracting
  
This module is like drinking from a fire hose; the instructor will take you through what to REALLY expect when working with government agencies, how the government buys, how to find your buyer, and how to navigate the 1,000s of databases.

Module 2- Marketing and Capabilities Statement
  
Attendees of this module will learn what a capabilities statement is, how to create your own capabilities statement, and examples of capabilities statements.  This module is also designed for attendees to leave with a clear, practical marketing action plan that be used immediately to start pursuing government opportunities.

Module 3 - Certifications
  
Also known as the alphabet soup, this module will cover everything you need to know about local, state, federal, and even private sector certifications such as SB, WBE, DBE, SWBE, WMBE, 8(a), HubZONE, and  the rest of the alphabet.  Information such as clarifying "controlling ownership," how to apply, what are the benefits, and the eligibility requirements.  The instructor will also cover "fake" certifications and what to watch out for.

Module 4 - Multiple Award Schedules (GSA) and Bidding
  
This final module in the series will cover the various multiple award schedules that are available, how to research the right one for your small business and how to apply.  The instructor will also cover how to determine whether or not you should bid, how to determine starting costs, and steps to take to streamline the bidding process.

  1. At a time when the price of a college degree is rising at an alarming rate, the cost of a college education is falling dramatically. If you want the education and don't need the degree, then for the cost of a few books you can get the same training that costs others hundreds of thousands of dollars.http://www.careerpanth.xyz/
