Mandatory pre-bid walks will be held Thursday, June 27 at 9 a.m., Tuesday July 2 at 9 a.m., and Thursday, July 11 at 9 a.m. Bidders must attend one of the three bid walks to meet the bid requirement. Meet at the jobsite located at 1901 Main St., San Diego, CA 92113 (corner of Main St. and Cesar Chavez Parkway).
Bids are due no later than 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in room 310 of the San Diego Community College District offices, located at 3375 Camino del Rio South, San Diego, CA 92108
Each bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents, which will be made available at www.mayer.com beginning June 20.
Log-in procedure:
· Go to “Current Projects Bidding”· Select “SDCCD Cesar Chavez Campus” folder.
· Open and complete the Planholder’s Registration link.
· After successful registration, a login and password will be provided.
A set of bid documents will also be available to view at no cost at the San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center, located at 4007 Camino del Rio South, Suite 210, San Diego, CA 92108. Please call ahead to find out when the plans are available for viewing (619-285-7020).
This project will have an Owner Covered Insurance Program (OCIP) and as such, all contractors shall need an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) less than, or equal to, one (1.00) averaged over the past five years or three years, whichever is most beneficial to the contractor.
