Calling All Architects and Engineers

SANDAG will soon be contracting for an estimated $260 million On-Call Architecture and Engineering for Design and Environmental agreements. The contracts will be used for transportation infrastructure projects in the county including transit system improvements, freeway and bridge enhancements, landscape design, freeway corridors, and other design efforts. A & E firms that are certified as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise or Small Business Enterprise firms are invited to join the Bench to participate in these efforts.

To register and be eligible for these opportunities; you must join the SANDAG Architecture & engineering (A&E) Bench Program:
2. Click on the “Register” tab, this will take you to the SANDAG/PlanetBids Home Portal.  Click the New Vendor Registration Button. (If you are currently registered in the SANDAG/PlanetBids database – Log in to the Vendor Database, click “Vendor Profile,” review vendor profile to ensure data is current and select the A&E Bench Firm Certification tab.)
3. Fill out all tabs – Company info tab, additional addresses tab, classifications / licenses tab, other business info tab, category/description tab
4. Complete the A&E Bench Firm Certification tab; you will be asked to upload your current certifications (DBE / SB) and your Capabilities Statement
