Ask the Experts Event - Friday, March 16th @ 10:00 AM

What is government contracting? This question is asked often of small business owners and their responses vary:

· Paperwork
· Red tape
· Bureaucracy
· Too big for a small business
· Too much work

All of the about can be true; however, there are resources like the North San Diego SBDC available to help small businesses overcome all these obstacles.

What can government contracting do for a small business? It can bring a level of stability that no other buyer can provide. We have clients that if they don’t sell another product/service for the next 2 years, they at least know they can pay their mortgage and put food on the table because of government contracting.

The North San Diego SBDC understands the needs of the small business community and joins Congressman Brian Bilbray to help small businesses learn how they can sell their product and services to the various government agencies.

Please join us: Friday, March 16, 2012 at the La Jolla Library located at 7555 Draper Avenue, La Jolla, CA 92037 for an opportunity to meet buyers, small business liaisons, and procurement specialist from government agencies and large businesses including GSA (General Services Administration), SPAWAR (Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command), NAVFAC ((Naval Facilities Engineering Command), UCSD (University California San Diego), and others as they demonstrate how you can do business with their agency.

This event is NO COST to you!!!

Be sure to register early, as these events tend to fill up!!!
