Low Voltage / Electrical Contractors Needed



The San Diego Community College District has posted a Request for Proposal for pre-qualified low voltage/electrical contractors to provide low voltage and data cabling installations.

Please note these installations would be for projects within the Propositions S and N construction bond program, which does not operate under a Project Labor Agreement (PLA).

Questions regarding this RFP must be emailed in writing to Cindy Lasley, Contract Specialist, at clasley@sdccd.eduAll Requests for Information (RFIs) are due no later than February 15, 2012.   All Requests for Proposal (RFPs) are due no later than 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012, at the SDCCD offices, 3375 Camino del Rio South, San Diego, 92108.

The SDCCD requires that all bidders who expect to submit a bid valued at $500,000 or higher be prequalified.  A list of prequalified contractors is available here.  The application for prequalification of general contractors and prime contractors is available here.
