Doing Business with the Government is collaboration between The MiraCosta College, Business and Entrepreneurship Center (BEC), the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, QLN Conference Center, the City of Oceanside and other participating agencies and corporations. This Workshop series was created to provide small businesses throughout San Diego and Imperial County with “how to information”, updates from legislators, resources, opportunities, and ideas to increase revenue, profitability, and jobs.  This is the sixth Doing Business with the Government event in San Diego County and the response has been overwhelming. “These workshops have been EXTREMELY effective in creating financial opportunities for attendees – including subcontracting to the private and public sector.  Participants receive information, tips and contacts that are invaluable to succeeding,” commented, Joseph Molina, Director of the Business & Entrepreneurship Center (BEC)B&EC
Doing Business with the Government features California Assemblymember Diane Harkey, Department of General Services (DGS), MiraCosta College, Caltrans, SDG&E, SANDAG, The San Diego Water Authority, The Navy and Marine Corps West.  Cheryl Protzeller, SBDC and BEC government contracting expert will provide the facts of how to successfully work with the government.  Attendees will meet buyers, network with colleagues and talk with experts.
